Todays digital xray technology has eliminated the need of a few things.  We no longer need dark rooms, toxic photographic chemicals as well as bulky storage facilities. They are used to examine tooth decay, abscesses, bone loss along with many other reasons. 

Our office provides 2 types of digital xrays. We use a Digital Kodak Sensor to take bitewings and Planmeca for panoramic xrays.  All equipment in our office is brand new.

Dental xrays have a very low radiation intensity, so the risk of side effects or complications is minimal.
